Critics

Audience

Seen through the perspectives of Baltimore police and the people they investigate, this drama explores a city shaped by the drug trade and the institutions meant to confront it. As the conflict broadens, the lines between right and wrong grow less clear, revealing how individuals struggle within a system that keeps renewing itself.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you value patient, character-driven crime dramas that explore institutions and social issues; Not for you if you want fast action or tidy heroes and villains.
