My take

You may like this if you enjoy gentle, old-fashioned fantasy stories with brave underdogs and a fairy-tale mood; Not for you if you want fast pacing or a simple, tightly focused plot, and it may appeal if you liked The Secret Life of Pets 2 or The Amazing Maurice.
