The Predator's Last Stand

Olivia "The Predator" Gerula is a former world champ who went pro 20 years ago and fought her way to a WBC title. Today, Gerula knows her career is coming to a close. Her family, friends and coaches are urging her to hang up her gloves. They know she's at risk of a concussion - or worse.

My take

A raw, unflinching portrait of an athlete confronting mortality and legacy. Gerula's final chapter is both heartbreaking and humanizing—the kind of story that sits with you long after it ends.
