The Paper

A documentary crew searches for a fresh subject after covering a famous paper company, eventually finding a historic Toledo newspaper and its eager publisher. Together with the newsroom staff, they face the challenges of reviving the struggling publication while building an unconventional workplace community.

My take

You may enjoy this workplace comedy if you like The Office or Detroiters, especially patient viewers who appreciate ensemble shows finding their rhythm; Not for you if you need immediate laughs and consistently likable characters.
