The Others

A protective mother lives in an old, darkened house with her two children, who are unusually sensitive to light. After new staff arrive, strange sounds, unexplained movements, and disturbing visions make the family suspect that something supernatural may be sharing their home.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy slow-burning, atmospheric ghost stories with psychological tension and restrained scares; Not for you if you want fast pacing, graphic violence, or constant jump scares.
