The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
A company of dwarves, a hobbit, and a wizard press onward toward a lost homeland and its hoarded treasure. Their journey takes them through dangerous forests, tense encounters with elves and townspeople, and finally into the dragon’s lair, while a darker threat develops elsewhere.
My takeYou’ll enjoy this if you want a lavish fantasy adventure filled with monsters, battles, and spectacle; Not for you if you prefer tighter storytelling and the emotional depth of The Two Towers.
