The Bones On Greenwich Shore

A young Japanese woman moves to London to study painting and becomes passionately entwined with an older British artist.  Judged harshly by family and friends, their relationship is strained but survives by their common interest in art.  Then, dark secrets emerge from the past, threatening to destroy their love and everything they thought they knew about themselves.

My take

A intimate, slow-burn drama about two artists crossing cultural and generational boundaries. Beautifully melancholic—the kind of film that lingers with you long after it ends, exploring desire, betrayal, and the secrets we keep from those we love most.
