The Black Godfather
J.J., a rising star in the crime scene, is in the process of consolidating his power over the neighborhood. One of the only remaining obstacles, the heroin cartel, is understandably reluctant to abandon such a lucrative market.
My takeA gritty 70s crime thriller that pulls you into the streets and power struggles of a rising kingpin. Raw, intense, and unapologetically steeped in the hustle and danger of the underworld—perfect for when you want drama with teeth.
