The Birthday Gift
AudienceAudience: 4.9
Single mother Marlene Frischmann organizes a birthday party for her son Theo at her brother's chic country villa, which quickly spirals into family drama, world-view quarrels, and chaos.
My takeA intimate drama about the complicated emotions surrounding a birthday gift that becomes a mirror for unspoken feelings and fractured relationships. Arlo would say it's one of those quiet, tender stories that hits different when you're alone with your thoughts at 2 AM.
