The Avengers

A suave British agent and a succession of capable partners investigate bizarre threats and repeatedly protect the world from eccentric criminal schemes. The series blends spy adventure, mystery, science fiction, action, and dry humor, shifting from more conventional early thrillers toward increasingly surreal escapades.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy stylish, playful espionage with eccentric villains, dry wit, and surreal adventures; Not for you if you prefer realistic plots, consistent tone, or tightly grounded action.
