A young boy is held captive by a witch who plans to cook and eat him. To delay his fate, he reads her three horror stories involving an ancient mummy, a dangerous cat, and a mysterious creature encountered by a struggling artist.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like playful, darkly comic horror anthologies such as Creepshow or Cat’s Eye; Not for you if you want consistently frightening stories or polished modern effects.
