Star Trek: Nemesis

A starship crew travels to Romulan territory after a new leader promises peace with the Federation. There, their captain discovers the leader is human, born on a neighboring world, and connected to him in a deeply personal way, drawing the crew into a dangerous political and military conflict.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like Star Trek, character-driven sci-fi conflicts, and large-scale space battles; Not for you if you want brisk pacing, lighthearted exploration, or a highly original story.
