Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

When a mysterious alien probe threatens Earth, a starship crew discovers that its message may be linked to humpback whales, long extinct in their era. They travel back to 20th-century California to find whales and bring them into the future, encountering unfamiliar technology, customs, and environmental concerns along the way.

My take
