Stalker

Near a gray, unnamed city lies the Zone, a restricted place where strange anomalies disrupt the usual laws of physics. A guide leads a writer and a professor through its dangerous landscape toward a room rumored to fulfill a visitor’s deepest desire, forcing them to confront uncertainty, belief, and what they truly want.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like patient, philosophical science fiction such as Solaris or 2001: A Space Odyssey; Not for you if you want fast action, clear answers, or a conventional plot.
