Spite Marriage

A well-meaning dry cleaner and devoted fan unexpectedly marries a popular stage actress, who hopes the marriage will make her old flame jealous. Their relationship leads to comic mishaps involving theater performances, criminal trouble, and a dangerous journey at sea.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like silent comedies, athletic slapstick, and Buster Keaton’s deadpan charm, especially in The Cameraman; Not for you if you need a tightly structured plot or consistently sympathetic characters.
