Spinster Emma Bates visits the "Big Town" for a boxing match and is mistaken for notorious gunwoman Ma Parker amidst rival gangster feuds. Her protege, Mickey, is shot and kidnapped. My take

A gleefully chaotic romp through 1940s gangland where a small-town spinster stumbles into the criminal underworld and decides to fake her way through it. Perfect for when you want clever action-comedy with heart, mistaken identities, and the kind of scrappy energy that makes classic Hollywood so fun.
