Son of the Mask

An aspiring cartoonist discovers that his dog has found a mysterious mask with extraordinary powers. After the couple welcomes a baby connected to the mask, chaotic family life takes an increasingly wild turn as its influence draws unwanted attention.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want loud, cartoonish family chaos, but fans of the original may be disappointed; Not for you if you dislike gross humor, frantic antics, or eerie CGI.
