My take

You’ll likely enjoy Shadowhunters if you want a dark fantasy mix of action and romance with lots of twists and emotional moments; Not for you if you dislike teen-focused drama, predictable story beats, or messy early pacing like some felt in The Vampire Diaries or Midnight, Texas.
