Riot Women

Five women and two backing singers form a makeshift punk-rock band to compete in a local talent contest. As they write their first original song, their music becomes an outlet for frustrations, struggles, and experiences they have long wanted to express, bringing them closer together through laughter and emotional challenges.

You’ll like this if you enjoy emotionally rich British dramas with humor, strong women, and messy relationships, especially shows such as Happy Valley; Not for you if you dislike bleak themes or confrontational gender politics.
