Rick and Morty: The Anime

A familiar family navigates an anime-styled science-fiction adventure as one older man exists in a pseudo-world, a teenage girl assists her spacefaring counterpart, and a young boy wrestles with romantic feelings. The series offers a more serialized, dramatic approach than the usual episodic comedy.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a more dramatic, serialized anime interpretation with distinctive visuals; Not for you if you expect the fast comedy, familiar rhythm, or episodic adventures of Rick and Morty.
