Redemption

A no-nonsense police detective in Merseyside receives a call from the Garda in Dublin after a young woman’s body is found. What begins as an investigation soon pulls her into a tense family situation, as she tries to understand the death while looking after two teenagers she’s never met.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy Redemption if you like steady crime storytelling with family pressure and determined detectives; Not for you if you want a totally believable case, fast pacing, or limited “soap” elements like Grace or Annika.
