Rampage

A wildlife expert’s close bond with an exceptionally intelligent gorilla is tested when a genetic experiment transforms the gentle animal into a gigantic threat. As other altered creatures rampage across North America, the expert joins forces with a disgraced scientist to find a cure and prevent catastrophe.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want lighthearted, over-the-top monster destruction, fast action, and comedy in the spirit of San Andreas; Not for you if you need realism, subtle characters, or a carefully developed plot.
