Quantum Leap

A brilliant scientist becomes trapped in the past after a time-travel experiment goes wrong, waking in different bodies and eras. Guided by a holographic friend only he can see, he must correct events in other people's lives while hoping each leap will finally take him home.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy optimistic science fiction, emotional standalone stories, moral dilemmas, and shows such as Timeless or Star Trek: Voyager; Not for you if you need fast serialization or consistently modern visuals.
