Playdate

An out-of-work accountant joins another father for what should be a relaxed playdate with their sons. When mercenaries suddenly give chase, the unprepared dad must navigate a series of absurd obstacles while trying to keep the children safe and make it through the chaotic afternoon.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want a silly, fast-moving buddy comedy with absurd action and low-stakes laughs; Not for you if you prefer polished writing, subtle humor, or serious storytelling.
