Plane

After severe weather forces a pilot to make an emergency landing in a remote war zone, he and the surviving passengers face armed militias seeking control of the aircraft. With communication limited and help uncertain, the pilot must work with an unlikely ally to protect everyone and find a way to survive.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want straightforward, old-school action with survival tension and Gerard Butler-style heroics; Not for you if you need originality, realism, or deep character development like Executive Decision or Air Force One.
