No Way Out

A Navy officer begins a passionate affair with a woman who is also involved with a powerful Pentagon official. After she is found dead, he leads the investigation, only to discover clues pointing toward his own connection to the case and placing him in growing danger.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like tense political thrillers with deception, confined investigations, and escalating danger, especially films such as Enemy of the State; Not for you if you dislike dated style or questionable twists.
