Never on Sunday

A visiting scholar in Greece becomes infatuated with a joyful local sex worker and decides to reshape her life through education. His well-intentioned plan brings together romance, cultural clashes, lively village celebrations, and questions about freedom, desire, and who has the right to change someone else.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like cheerful romantic comedies with spirited performances and Greek-infused energy; Not for you if you dislike predictable plots, dated sexual attitudes, or exaggerated acting.
