After leaving her unfaithful husband, a mother takes her two sons on a cross-country journey through 1950s America. Hoping to find a new partner who can support their family, she faces setbacks, awkward encounters, and changing family relationships along the way.

My take

You may enjoy this gentle, nostalgic family road movie for its 1950s atmosphere, emotional ups and downs, and eccentric characters; Not for you if you prefer fast-paced plots, sharp comedy, or highly unpredictable storytelling.
