Magnum P.I.

A decorated former Navy SEAL returns to Hawaii and puts his military skills to work as a private investigator, taking on cases others avoid. With help from fellow veterans and a former intelligence agent, he navigates investigations, action, and life on the island.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like approachable action mysteries, a close-knit team, and a sunny Hawaiian setting; Not for you if you want gritty realism or a faithful return to the original series.
