Land Of Little Rivers
Two unlikely partners who grew up in the little village of Walden, NY hooked up one day. One a retired nogoodnik and the other an accomplished movie director (who has no fly-fishing experience). Together they hatched a plan to come up with a fly-fishing documentary film, based in the Catskill Mountains of New York, to share the history of a cult type sport. The film encompasses the heroes and legends from the late 1880's to the present day.
A meditative journey into an obsessive pursuit, where two strangers from the same small town chase the history and soul of fly-fishing in the Catskills. Contemplative and deeply personal—perfect for viewers drawn to niche passions and the people who keep traditions alive.
