Surfing is an amazing, enjoyable and incredible experience for everyone. But it is so much more than just a fun day at the beach for these kids. For three days in the summer in Maine, children with developmental disabilities, their families and their communities get together. It is here that bonds are made, and physical and mental change happens for all involved. The explosive joy has long lasting effects across all who attend.
