I Spit on Your Grave

A city writer rents a secluded country cabin to work on her next novel, but her isolation turns into a harrowing ordeal when local men target her. After enduring extreme violence, she sets out to confront those responsible in a brutal story of survival and revenge.

My take

You may appreciate this grim, high-intensity revenge story if you can handle graphic violence and a distressing assault; Not for you if prolonged scenes of cruelty or a slow setup are difficult to watch.
