A novelist retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes beneath a meaningful tree. After hearing stories about a witch confined to the honeymoon suite, he experiences disturbing visions and becomes entangled in a disappearance that forces him to face painful parts of his past.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like isolated settings, folk horror, and slow-building tension in the vein of Oddity and The Dark and the Wicked; Not for you if you need fast pacing or easily relatable characters.
