Gung Ho

When a Japanese company takes over a struggling Pennsylvania auto plant, a quick-talking worker becomes the go-between for new management and longtime union employees. As workplace rules, expectations, and loyalties collide, he must help both sides find a workable way forward while the town’s future hangs in the balance.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like light workplace comedies with social themes and an energetic 1980s style, especially Night Shift; Not for you if you want consistent laughs, subtle cultural portrayals, or polished drama.
