Gremlins

A young man receives an unusual pet as a Christmas gift, along with three strict rules for its care. When those rules are broken, mischievous creatures spread through a small town, forcing him and his girlfriend to confront a bizarre and increasingly dangerous holiday threat.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy mischievous creature features, dark Christmas humor, and nostalgic 1980s fantasy, but Not for you if you want consistent scares, deep characters, or tightly structured storytelling.
