Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

After a forbidden use of alchemy leaves one brother without limbs and the other bound to a suit of armor, the siblings set out to reclaim what they lost. Their search draws them into conflict with a corrupt military, dangerous artificial beings, and foreign alchemists, testing their courage and unbreakable bond.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want action, emotional stakes, thoughtful themes, and a broad adventure with humor; Not for you if you dislike anime conventions, dark material, or slower world-building.
