Freaky Friday

A rebellious teenage girl and her mother clash over clothes, relationships, responsibilities and the future. After a magical fortune cookie causes them to switch bodies, each must navigate the other’s daily life while trying to reverse the spell and gain a better understanding of their family conflict.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this warm, funny family comedy if you like The Parent Trap or The Princess Diaries; Not for you if predictable plots, broad physical humor, and early-2000s teen style wear you out.
