If you want a darker, teen-focused magic school adventure with rivalry and mystery, Fate: The Winx Saga may work for you; Not for you if you prefer lighter, kid-friendly Winx-style stories or if you dislike teen angst-heavy fantasy like Shadow and Bone or The Witcher: Blood Origin.
