Escaping Paradise
AudienceAudience: 4.2
When a young couple vacations on an exotic island, they encounter a dangerous fugitive who is determined to keep them from leaving.
My takeA tense psychological thriller about someone desperately fleeing an idyllic but sinister setting that traps them in moral and physical danger. The film captures the claustrophobic dread of paradise turning into a prison, with mounting stakes and paranoia.
