Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

CriticsCritics: 98

After a rogue general orders a nuclear strike, officials in a tense war room scramble to stop the attack while an isolated bomber crew follows its mission. This dark comedy turns Cold War paranoia, military thinking, and political confusion into an absurd race against catastrophe.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy intelligent dark comedy, absurd political satire, and memorable performances, especially in the vein of M*A*S*H or Being There; Not for you if you prefer straightforward drama or fast-paced action.
