Doll Face

A burlesque star dreams of Broadway fame, but her past holds her back. Her boyfriend hires a writer to reinvent her image with a biography, leading to a romantic musical comedy filled with humor, charm, and glamorous performances. The film stars Vivian Blaine, Dennis O'Keefe, and Perry Como.

My take

A glamorous romp through 1940s showbiz that captures the giddy thrill of reinvention and second chances. Perfect for when you want something sparkly, fun, and unapologetically romantic—with the bonus of catching Perry Como and Carmen Miranda in rare, radiant form.
