Deep Rising

A band of armed hijackers boards a luxury ocean liner intending to loot it, but finds the vessel strangely deserted. As they investigate, they face a terrifying threat from the deep and must fight to survive aboard the isolated ship.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want a fast, gory, knowingly cheesy sea-monster adventure with humor and explosions; Not for you if you prefer subtle horror, realism, or polished modern effects.
