Dead of Winter

A widowed fisherwoman traveling alone through snowbound northern Minnesota witnesses a teenage girl being kidnapped. Stranded hours from town without phone service, she must rely on her wits and determination to help the girl while staying ahead of dangerous captors in the frozen wilderness.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like contained, snowy survival thrillers driven by strong performances, especially films such as Extortion or Alone in Berlin; Not for you if you need airtight plotting and fast pacing.
