A retired boxing champion enjoys a successful family life while mentoring young fighters. When a childhood friend and former prodigy returns after years in prison seeking a chance in the ring, old guilt and resentment resurface, forcing the former friends toward a deeply personal showdown.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like emotionally charged boxing dramas, charismatic rivals, and family-centered stories, especially Real Steel or The Way Back; Not for you if you need fresh plots or classic franchise connections.
