Coraline

In a dull new town, a curious young girl exploring her old house finds a hidden door leading to a seemingly improved version of her life. As its charms give way to an unsettling sense of danger, she must decide what she is willing to risk to return home.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like imaginative fantasy with a sweet, spooky edge and a brave young heroine; Not for you if creepy imagery or tense scenes aren’t your thing.
