Casino Royale
AudienceAudience: 5.4
American spy James Bond must outsmart card wiz and crime boss LeChiffre while monitoring his actions.
My takeThis is the first cinematic adaptation of Ian Fleming's James Bond, featuring American actor Barry Nelson as the iconic spy in a tense Cold War poker game against a Soviet operative. It's a sleek, spy thriller that established the template for espionage entertainment with high-stakes gambling, sophisticated intrigue, and dangerous adversaries.
