Cannibal Holocaust

A university professor returns from the Amazon with footage recorded by a missing documentary team. As he and others examine what was filmed, the expedition raises disturbing questions about exploitation, violence, and who is truly civilized.

My take

You may appreciate this if you seek challenging, influential horror with a grim social critique, but Not for you if graphic violence, sexual violence, or real animal cruelty are deal-breakers.
