Black Hawk Down

During a mission to capture two senior aides of a Somali warlord, U.S. Rangers and elite soldiers find themselves trapped in a hostile city after helicopters are shot down. Heavily outnumbered, they fight through chaotic streets while trying to rescue stranded comrades and return to safety.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want an unrelenting, gritty war film centered on teamwork and survival, especially if you liked Saving Private Ryan; Not for you if you prefer quieter, character-driven stories.
