Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Two carefree high school friends risk failing history and losing their chance to stay together in their band. With help from a mysterious visitor and a time-traveling phone booth, they journey through the past to gather historical figures for an important class presentation.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this if you like upbeat, absurd time-travel comedies with lovable underachievers, playful historical encounters, and plenty of quotable humor; Not for you if you prefer grounded stories or sophisticated comedy.
