Beauty and the Beast

After losing his fortune, a merchant finds himself bound to a fearsome creature after taking a rose from an enchanted castle. His compassionate daughter offers to take his place, becoming drawn into the castle’s mystery as fear gradually gives way to affection and danger threatens the fragile bond.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy dark, lavish fairy tales, enchanted castles, and gorgeous costumes more than fast-moving romance; Not for you if you want Disney-style songs, playful magic, or deeply developed chemistry.
